Savista seeks a Coder II to review clinical documentation, assign ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes, and ensure accurate coding for hospital and outpatient settings. You will work to meet regulatory and client standards while maintaining confidentiality and pursuing ongoing education.

The role requires two years of hands-on coding experience, AHIMA/AAPC credentials, and strong MS Office skills to support data integrity and efficient billing processes.

• Must pass a pre-employment skills assessment.
• Active AHIMA or AAPC credential required.
• Minimum two years of coding experience.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS.
• Proficient in MS Office and data entry.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Mansioni

• Select and sequence ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes for designated patient types.
• Review facility records to ensure APC/E&M coding accuracy.
• Abstract clinical data to support diagnoses and procedures.
• Provide data integrity support and guidance on compliant coding practices.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
• Participate in client and Savista staff meetings and trainings.
• Stay current with ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS rules and third-party requirements.
• Engage in continuing education to maintain credentials.
