The State of Colorado invites applications for a Budget Analyst position at the CDOC Headquarters in Colorado Springs. You will support the Budget Office, CDOC Clinical Management, Behavioral Health Administrators, and Health Services Administrators with expenditures and financial analysis for healthcare-related items.

The role requires six years of professional budget experience and knowledge of procurement, reporting, and CORE-based systems.

Qualifications

• Six years of professional budget analysis and development experience.
• Ability to interpret fiscal rules and manage expenditures in clinical settings.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Analyze requisitions and apply fiscal rules to avoid violations.
• Review and approve CORE system documents for budget actions.
• Produce monthly/quarterly/annual operating and personnel reports.
• Develop ad hoc reports and identify trends for discretionary spending.
• Oversee credit card program and train cardholders on fiscal duties.
• Facilitate access to financial tools for stakeholders.
• Provide vendor/customer service including inmate banking transactions.
