Job summary

Ascension is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Women’s Health department at All Saints Spring St. Campus in Racine, WI. This full-time, daytime role involves coordinating patient care, implementing care plans, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.

The position requires an RN license in Wisconsin, BLS certification, and a nursing diploma. Prior women’s health nursing experience is preferred, with no weekends or major holidays for a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
• RN license issued by Wisconsin Board of Nursing prior to hire.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program required.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Additional Preferences

• 40 hours a week | M-F | No weekends or major holidays
• Prior women's health nursing experience
