Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within 3 months.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training within 3 months.
• Ability to read, write and understand English and communicate with patients, visitors, and colleagues.
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality with patient information.
• Demonstrates honesty, integrity and caring aligned with Trinity Health values.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in patients to ensure efficient admitting process.
• Answer phone calls and route to appropriate staff.
• Schedule appointments according to office guidelines.
• Obtain accurate patient and insurance information and collect copays/deductibles.
• Enter demographics and insurance data into the electronic medical record.
• Copy/scan necessary documents into the medical record.
