Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtained within three months of hire.
• Ability to read, write and understand English and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient check-in at the time of visit and completes all steps to ensure the admitting process is efficient and compliant with all clinic and regulatory policies.
• Answers phone calls and directs them appropriately.
• Schedules appointments according to office guidelines.
• Obtains accurate patient and insurance information, collecting copays and deductibles.
• Copies/scans patient access related materials into the correct location in the electronic medical record.
