Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training completion within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, manage front desk duties and patient flow.
• Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately.
• Schedule appointments according to guidelines.
• Obtain accurate patient and insurance information and collect copays.
• Enter demographics and insurance data into the EHR and related systems.
• Handle time-of-service payments and/or past due balances at appointment time.
