Job summary

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) seeks a clinic support professional to ensure smooth patient flow, schedule appointments, prepare paperwork, greet patients, and maintain records. You will also process charges for services and file insurance claims, coordinating with patients and insurers as needed.

Responsibilities include verifying eligibility, updating demographics, maintaining EMR documentation, and protecting patient confidentiality in line with HIPAA and TTUHSC

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of customer service, office, or related experience; additional education may substitute for this experience.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming patient calls promptly and professionally.
• Schedule appointments and document messages.
• Maintain accurate charts and update demographics.
• Verify insurance eligibility and process claims.
