Job summary

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) Dalhart Unit seeks a MC Sr Patient Svcs Specialist to ensure smooth clinic operations within a correctional facility. You will be the primary contact for patients, preparing paperwork, receiving patients, and maintaining records for visits while coordinating related clinic services.

The role involves responding to patient information requests and maintaining department records in a medical clinic setting with notable contact among patients,

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Three (3) years customer service, office or related experience required, with two (2) of those years in a healthcare setting preferred.
Additional education may substitute for the experience requirement.

Responsibilities

Supports the Values Based Culture of TTUHSC.
Complies with TDCJ and TTUHSC policy and procedures including all necessary paperwork.
Order supplies. Picks up same as necessary.
Maintains inventory of capital equipment and repair.
Maintains professional relationship with vendors and other departments at unit.
Pick up boxes when delivered by UPS/ FED EX / mailroom.
