• Reschedule missed appointments and coordinate follow-ups at checkout when needed.
• Greet patients and caregivers; obtain consents and necessary HIPAA/privacy notices.
• Obtain insurance cards and photo IDs; ensure documents are filed correctly in the medical record.
• Verify insurance eligibility and pre-authorizations; inform families of payment expectations.
