American Family Care (AFC) is seeking a Clinic Manager to oversee operations for an urgent care center in Bakersfield. You will manage non-physician staff, ensure high-quality patient care, and maintain facility standards, supplies, and accurate charges across the franchise location.

The role requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced healthcare setting, with a focus on improving performance, patient experience, and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two years experience in a supervisory role in a medical office preferred.
• Demonstrated skills in written, verbal, and consultative communications.
• Ability to deliver high levels of customer service and achieve customer satisfaction.
• Understanding of compliance and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinic operations and administrative functions.
• Lead non-physician clinic staff and ensure quality patient care.
• Improve operational performance and patient growth.
• Develop and implement clinic policies and procedures.
• Ensure HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA compliance and staff training.
