Job summary

United Health Centers of the San Joaquin Valley is seeking a Health Center Supervisor to direct staff and oversee daily operations under the Health Center Manager, ensuring high-quality customer service and cost-effective care.

The role covers both Front Office and Back Office operations, addressing scheduling issues and patient flow bottlenecks, while coordinating with the Health Center Manager on staff performance and development. Exempt position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; an Associate degree is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management or supervisory experience.
• Bilingual ability is preferred (English/Spanish) but not required.

Responsibilities

• Direct, supervise, and coordinate staff and day-to-day operations for the health center.
• Manage front and back office operations and patient flow.
• Respond to scheduling issues, patient concerns, and staff relations matters.
• Monitor cash/copay collections and daily deposits; ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Provide coaching, training and performance feedback to staff; participate in hiring.
