CHI Health Clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant / Certified Medical Assistant (MA/CMA) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care that impacts patients' well-being and recovery. Qualifications

• Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by ABHES or CAAHEP
• Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows.
• Greets and prepares patients for the healthcare provider by obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing drug allergies and current medications, completing applicable screening questionnaires and documenting reasons for visit.
• Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients.
• Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned.
