Job summary

CHI Health Clinic in Omaha, NE seeks a Medical Assistant / Certified Medical Assistant (MA/CMA) in the Cardiology clinic. You will deliver compassionate, high‑quality care, perform vital signs, specimen collection, and prepare medications or vaccines to patients.

The role emphasizes teamwork within an interdisciplinary environment, keen assessment skills, and patient-first care. Eligible for sign-on bonus and education assistance based on eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the ABHES or CAAHEP.
• Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows.
• Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider by obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing drug allergies and current medications, completing screening questionnaires and documenting reasons for visit.
• Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients.
• Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
