Job summary

PRISM Vision Group is seeking an IT Field Technician to own day-to-day on-site technology reliability across roughly 10–20 locations in the Spokane area. You will be the primary IT contact for clinic staff, managers, and providers, handling deployments and proactive troubleshooting.

This field-based role requires up to 30% travel between Spokane, WA and Los Angeles, CA, with residency near Spokane. You will coordinate with MSP and vendors while maintaining PHI protections and security best

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in IT or related field a plus.
• Experience troubleshooting desktop hardware, peripherals, and basic networking.
• Experience with ticketing/ITSM systems and RMM tools for remote diagnosis.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive, in-person IT support to clinic staff and providers.
• Travel on-site to resolve hardware and connectivity issues.
• Engage the right resource for scope gaps and coordinate with teams.
• Maintain clean, locked network closets and organize equipment.
• Document work clearly for AI-assisted knowledge base.
• Coordinate with MSP and vendors for on-site maintenance and deployments.
• Deploy devices and ensure secure handling of legacy hardware.
