Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification or obtained within three months of hire.
• Ability to read, write and understand English; communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Confidential handling of patient information and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors and reflect Trinity Health values.
• Check-in patients and manage admitting process efficiently.
• Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate staff.
• Schedule appointments according to office guidelines.
• Obtain accurate patient and insurance information and collect copays.
• Enter demographics and insurance data into the EHR; scan documents as needed.
