The role includes managing front desk operations, scheduling appointments, handling calls, verifying insurance eligibility, and entering patient data into the Electronic Health Record systems. The Receptionist will collect copays and remaining balances at the time of service, maintain confidentiality, and support smooth patient flow in a compliant, patient-centered clinic

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write and understand the English language, and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and colleagues.
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality regarding patient information.
• Must demonstrate honesty, integrity and caring in line with Trinity Health values.

Aufgaben

• Greet patients and visitors at the clinic front desk.
• Manage front desk duties and patient flow, including scheduling appointments.
• Answer and direct phone calls and manage calls efficiently.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect copays and deductibles at point of service.
• Enter demographics and insurance information into the EHR and related systems; copy/scan referral materials as needed.
