Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a part-time Clinic Receptionist to greet patients, manage front desk duties, and coordinate scheduling across Maplecrest and related clinics. The role covers days with PRN scheduling and requires strong customer service and confidentiality.

The receptionist will verify insurance, collect payments at the point of service, and accurately enter patient demographics into the EMR system, supporting smooth patient flow and adherence to clinic policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three months of hire.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Must maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and compassion reflecting Trinity Health values.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors and manage front desk responsibilities.
• Check-in patients, initiate admitting processes, and ensure compliance with policies.
• Answer and route phone calls and schedule appointments.
• Collect copays and deductibles; verify insurance eligibility.
• Enter demographics and insurance details in the EMR and related systems; handle time-of-service payments.
