Job summary

Specsavers in Flint is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to support daily clinic operations and ensure patients are seen promptly, delivering exceptional customer service and a seamless experience during visits.

Role includes training opportunities and working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on accurate records, appointment management, and collaboration with clinicians to optimise clinic performance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within healthcare, optical, audiology, retail, or hospitality.
• Experience coordinating appointments, schedules, or diaries in a busy environment.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and prioritising multiple tasks.
• Experience in Optics or Audiology is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating patient appointments and clinic schedules.
• Delivering excellent customer service to patients and visitors.
• Managing patient enquiries in person, by phone, and via email.
• Supporting clinicians with administrative and operational tasks.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
• Monitoring appointment availability and clinic capacity.
• Liaising with colleagues and external providers to support patient care.
• Ensuring compliance with confidentiality and health and safety standards.
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic.
• Helping to improve the patient experience and clinic performance.
