DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Climbing Associate to drive engagement, training, and educational programs for teammates and customers in climbing. You will monitor activities, assist climbers, and oversee daily rock wall operations under the guidance of the Lead and Assistant Store Manager.

The role emphasizes high levels of customer service, product knowledge, and safe, compliant operations within the climbing department, including team-building events and adherence to store standards.

Qualifications

• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Climbing certification required.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old to comply with applicable labor laws and job-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive engagement, training and educational programs for teammates and customers in all aspects of climbing.
• Monitor climbing activities and provide assistance to climbers.
• Direct workflow and oversee daily operations of the climb department under the Lead and Assistant Store Manager.
• Drive results and uphold company standards in merchandise presentation, signing, price changes and replenishment.
• Assist Climbing lead with team-building events at the rock wall with guides.
