Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Climbing Associate to lead engagement, training and safety for climbers and teammates in the climbing area. You will monitor activities, guide customers and help run the department under the Lead and Assistant Store Manager, delivering the highest level of service and product knowledge.

You will teach climbing techniques, maintain gear and signage, follow safety procedures, and assist in events and store operations as needed while upholding company standards.

Qualifications

• Prior retail experience preferred
• Climbing certification required
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old to comply with applicable labor laws and job-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor climbing activities and ensure safety.
• Direct workflow and assist Lead/Assistant Store Manager.
• Provide consultative service with product knowledge to climbers.
• Assist in team-building events at the rock wall and support store operations as needed.
