Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods in Salem, NH is seeking a Climbing Associate to drive engagement, training and education for teammates and customers within the climbing department. You will monitor activities, assist climbers and oversee daily operations under the Lead and Assistant Store Manager.

Responsibilities

Drive engagement, training and educational programs for teammates and customers in climbing.
Monitor climbing activities and provide assistance to climbers.
Direct workflow and oversee the daily operations of the climb department under the Lead and ASM.
Drive results and ensure company standards, and assist in other operations as needed.
Identify and correct safety concerns with the rock wall and climbing equipment.
Adhere to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures.
Create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome and respected.
Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
