Job summary

Trane Technologies invites students to join a 12-week Summer Internship in Technical Sales across North America. You will collaborate with Sales Account Managers, learn the design and sale of HVAC systems, and participate in sales meetings, calls, and customer visits to build hands-on experience.

The program aims to develop technical, business, leadership, and communication skills, with a path toward the Graduate Training Program after graduation.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree throughout the internship. Preferred fields: Business, Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Engineering.
• Must have completed at least sophomore year before start of internship.
• U.S. citizen or legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Passionate about continuous learning in technical fields and engineering solutions.
• Some positions may be remote while others are hybrid or onsite at facilities across North America.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of HVAC systems, controls, parts and services.
• Attend sales meetings and customer visits with mentors.
• Gain hands-on experience in the steps sales engineers take from start to finish.
