Job summary

Trane Technologies offers a hands-on Summer Internship in Technical Sales across North America. The 12-week program challenges you to develop technical, business, sales engineering, leadership, and communication skills while providing exposure to a full range of commercial HVAC equipment and building automation solutions.

You will work with Sales Account Managers, learn system design and application, and participate in meetings and customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering throughout the summer internship.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Some roles may be remote while others may require hybrid or onsite assignment across North America.
• Possess a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with industry-leading Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand the design, application and sale of HVAC systems, controls, parts, and services.
• Attend sales meetings, business functions, and customer meetings with mentors.
• Be hands-on in the sales engineering steps from start to finish during the internship.
• Develop relationships with customers, acting as a daily point of contact.
