Job summary

GEM Plastics is seeking a Customer Relations Coordinator to support materials, processes, and information with reps, distributors, and end-users. Coordinating resources and ensuring accurate data flow across channels.

You will communicate with customers about products and services, quote materials and lead times, answer questions, log interactions and complaints, maintain customer records, prepare orders, coordinate returns, and support blanket order tracking.

Qualifications

• Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to read and understand equipment operation manuals, Safety Data Sheets, and other literature as required.
• Basic computer knowledge in Word and Excel.
• Good mathematics skills are necessary.
• Critical Thinking/Problem Solving

Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate with new and existing customers about products and services.
• Quote materials, lead times, and other bid specifications.
• Answer customers’ questions about products, prices, availability, and uses.
• Maintain customer records using automated systems and log interactions.
• Identify prospective customers using directories and leads from existing clients.
• Prepare sales contracts for orders and coordinate processing and shipment.
