Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Client Manager to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, working with production teams to ensure safe, efficient service and quality standards. You will own the client relationship and serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts, reporting to the Branch Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in operations, customer service, or related field.
• Ability to travel to office and client locations, with after-hours events when necessary.
• Demonstrated accountability, judgment, and decision-making within established precedents.
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, with negotiation ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; business writing competency.
• Maintain confidentiality and represent the company professionally.
• Highly organized with strong follow-up abilities; excellent computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships and direct communication with all levels of client organizations to ensure high quality and service expectations are met.
• Develop and implement account-specific vision, strategies, and creative solutions; monitor profitability and drives retention and growth.
• Act as primary escalation responsibility for client concerns by proactively assisting in resolving issues with customer service when needed.
• Conduct regular business reviews with clients and assess performance of maintenance teams to align goals on quality, maintenance, and personnel development.
• Identify, estimate and present opportunities for new business and enhancements.
• Monitor the implementation of approved work orders (Irrigation, Mulch, Turf Care and Seasonal Color).
• Work with business development to achieve branch sales goals through referrals and generate sales opportunities within client portfolios.
• Effectively manage and complete the client transition from the Sales Team to the Operations Team.
• Ensure familiarity with each job’s specifications and that a solid communication plan exists and is administered successfully.
• Provide client feedback to the Operations Team to facilitate change / corrective action.
• Partner with Project Management to organize client requests and procedures on properties; schedule meetings to communicate plans and ensure timely billing.
