Job summary

Truist in Memphis, TN is seeking a Retail Banking Associate to provide timely client transactions, deliver superior service, and educate clients on digital banking options. This role supports sales and service activities while ensuring accurate records and compliance.

You will participate in outbound outreach, advance client relationships, and contribute to Integrated Relationship Management efforts; weekend/extended hours may be required, with occasional travel for staffing needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years teller or cash handling experience.
• Six months client relationship or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and branch automation software.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Willingness to travel for temporary staffing.
• Willingness to work weekends/extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients and handling transactions while uncovering needs.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions like ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support sales by outbound outreach, checking offers, and identifying client needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) and deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attend training and knowledge sessions to grow product expertise.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and problem resolution.
