Job summary

Truist in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Regular full-time Retail Banking Associate to provide timely client transactions and accurate records while guiding clients to digital self-service solutions.

You will engage in outbound outreach, support Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) initiatives, and participate in sales/service activities as part of a retail banking team. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch operations.
• Ability to multitask under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office).
• Ability to travel for temporary staffing and locale changes.
• Willingness to work weekends and extended hours if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience with accurate handling of transactions and records.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions like ATMs and Online/Mobile banking.
• Support sales by outbound client outreach and identifying needs for referrals.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Enhance product knowledge through ongoing training and meetings.
• Adhere to internal controls and policies; stay informed of changes.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and problem resolution.
