Job summary

SPS North America Inc. is seeking a Client Service Associate/Mailroom Associate in Herndon to provide exceptional mail handling and shipping/receiving support for the onsite Business Service Center.

You will process inbound/outbound mail, operate postage and printing equipment, and ensure timely distribution of mail and packages to SPS employees. The role emphasizes high-quality customer service, professional communication, and ability to work independently with occasional training

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years prior work experience preferred.
• Able to work assigned hours as determined by manager.
• Flexible, adaptable and dependable; team player.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Analytical abilities and problem-solving aptitude.
• Superb written and verbal communication skills.
• Must learn computer-based systems.
• Professional appearance and attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide 5-star customer service to all employees.
• Receive inbound mail/packages and input into chain of custody software.
• Operate mail machines (postage meter, copier, mail folding/inserting).
• Maintain records of receipts and mailing dates.
• Manage outgoing mail and shipments.
• Assist with shipping/receiving materials.
• Notify employees on inbound deliveries.
• Distribute mail/packages to personnel.
• Serve as point of contact for mail inquiries.
• Submit work orders for requests.
• Keep Business Service Center neat and orderly.
• Monitor and replenish office supplies.
• Proactively seek additional work during downtime.
• Build professional relationships with customers and teams.
• Maintain professionalism with all staff.
• Train back-up staff and communicate policies.
• Assess additional support needed for sensitive inquiries.
• Provide exceptional client service.
• Provide front/back office reception or hospitality coverage as needed.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to multitask.
