Job summary

SPS is seeking a Mailroom Associate to provide mail and receiving services, ensuring timely processing, distribution, and delivery of inbound mail, packages, and supplies to support the onsite business service center.

The role involves tracking and logging shipments, operating postage machines and scanners, coordinating with carriers, and delivering five-star customer service to all employees. This role also supports inventory and facilities tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Preferably at least 1 year of shipping and receiving experience.
• Able to operate forklift.
• Familiar with smartphone and desktop computer technology.
• Comfortable with frequent face-to-face customer interactions.
• Able to stand and walk for the full shift and lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Track, log, and maintain records of incoming and outgoing packages.
• Operate mailroom equipment including postage machines and scanners.
• Coordinate with carriers and vendors regarding deliveries.
• Provide 5-star customer service to all employees.
• Receive goods, verify counts, and report discrepancies.
• Maintain records of received items and prepare documentation for damaged items.
• Distribute mail and packages to personnel and notify recipients.
• Input inbound mail into chain of custody software and maintain supply levels.
