Job summary

City National Bank is seeking a Sales Ops Service Manager for RBC/CNB Synergies to support Relationship Managers and Banking Advisors. You will service clients, resolve inquiries, and identify cross-sell opportunities while managing operations risk.

In this role, you will coordinate between clients and various bank areas, review deposits, approve transfers, and ensure compliance with policy. Strong analytical, communication, and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years in client service, banking ops, or relationship management.
• Experience with bank products and services (deposits, wealth, cash, international) required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong risk management knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid knowledge of all phases of operations (e.g., installments, new accounts, wires).
• Excellent analytical skills.
• MS Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Act as primary liaison between the client and all areas of the bank. Follow up with client requests to ensure completion and satisfaction.
• Resolve client inquiries and complaints and take action to prevent future problems; contact clients regarding overdrafts and follow up.
• Analyze client needs to cross-sell Bank services and introduce clients to Wealth Management, International, and Treasury Management.
• Participate in cross-sell activities with the Relationship Manager/Banking Advisor.
• Perform deposit operations-related activities; review and process deposits, approve checks for cashing, and initiate transfers.
• Review deposits and approve/hold transfers, overdrafts, and fee waivers within authority.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of account activity and monitor reports for potential risks.
