Job summary

City National Bank in Jackson, MS seeks a Sales Ops Service Manager for RBC/CNB Synergies to support Relationship Managers and Banking Advisors. You will resolve client inquiries, handle deposits, wires, and online/mobile banking needs, and identify cross-sell opportunities while maintaining risk controls and compliance.

You will act as the primary client liaison across bank areas, ensuring timely follow-up and satisfactory outcomes, and you will oversee operational processes to prevent

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in client service, banking operations or banking relationship management support.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a banking or financial services environment.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with bank products and services (e.g. deposits, wealth management, cash management, international, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Client Services
• Act as primary liaison between the client and all areas of the bank. Perform follow up with all client requests to ensure completion and satisfaction.
• Resolve client inquiries and complaints and take appropriate action to prevent future problems. Contact clients regarding overdrafts and perform follow-up to resolve.
• Analyze client needs to cross-sell a wide variety of Bank services and introduce clients to appropriate area within the Bank.
• Participate in cross sell activities with the Relationship Manager/Banking Advisor.
• Risk Management/Compliance
• Perform deposit operations-related activities within the department. Review and process deposits and approve checks for cashing.
• Prepare and approve transfers, initiate debit/credit entries, and assist with mobile/online banking inquiries.
• Review deposits and approve/decline holds within authority. Process transfers, overdrafts, and fee waivers.
• Maintain up-to-date account activity knowledge from reports; identify problems and take action to avoid financial loss.
• Escalate potential risk appropriately and facilitate new deposit account requests with disclosures.
• Complete KYCs for new clients/entities/loans.
• Approve items from Banking Offices, EIP, Non Post, etc.
• Maintain and update DARS report.
