Job summary

H&R Block in Virginia Beach is seeking a Seasonal Client Service Professional / Receptionist to be the welcoming face of the office. You will greet clients, answer calls, schedule appointments, and match clients with the right tax professional.

This in-person role supports daily office operations, handles check-ins and document intake, and collaborates with tax professionals to maintain a smooth, professional client experience. Availability evenings and weekends during tax season is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, client-centric environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for professional client service.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities throughout the day.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Comfort using basic computer programs and scheduling tools, including Microsoft Office and Teams.
