Job summary

USI, Inc. in Schaumburg, IL is seeking a detail-oriented client account specialist to service Premier clients and drive retention. You will conduct renewal marketing, handle client inquiries, and perform annual coverage reviews with a focus on accuracy and service excellence.

You will provide expertise on insurance products, manage pre-renewal activities, and coordinate with carriers to ensure seamless renewals and timely responses. A Property & Casualty license is required or in progress.

Qualifications

• Up to 5 years experience in Personal Lines Property & Casualty Insurance.
• State Property & Casualty license required.
• College degree preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a minimum of 95% retention of Client Accounts by pro-active client engagement.
• Provide technical expertise on insurance coverage and products for new and existing clients.
• Complete USI New Business Process for new clients, including communication plan and welcomes.
• Manage all pre-renewal activities for Premier clients, including renewal summaries and risk assessments.
• Execute on policy renewals; issue proof of insurance and maintain renewal expirations.
• Respond to underwriters’ questions promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accuracy in agency management and document systems.
• Guide clients in submitting first reports of claims and coordinate carrier response.
