Job summary

USI is seeking a client account specialist to service and manage Premier client relationships in Des Moines. You will drive renewal activity, respond to client questions, and coordinate annual coverage reviews to ensure retention and satisfaction.

Responsibilities include proactive engagement to maintain 95% retention, delivering renewal proposals, and coordinating with carriers. A license in Property & Casualty and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Up to 5 years experience in Personal Lines Property & Casualty Insurance
• State Property & Casualty license required
• College degree preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Maintain at least 95% retention of client accounts through proactive engagement
• Provide technical insurance product knowledge and client service
• Manage New Business Process for new clients including communication plans and welcome packets
• Coordinate pre-renewal activities and deliver renewal proposals
• Execute policy renewals and maintain renewal expirations to prevent lapses
• Respond to underwriters and maintain accurate documentation in systems
• Guide clients in submitting first reports of claims and liaising with carriers
