Job summary

The Fidelity Bank in Shelby, NC seeks a Relationship Banker I to handle teller transactions and cash vault tasks with accuracy while delivering exceptional customer service. You will follow bank policies, support branch controls, and work with the team to reach branch scorecard goals.

You will identify customer needs, offer appropriate products, and contribute to achieving individual and team financial and relationship metrics in a compliant, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with one year of cash handling and customer service experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
• Must pass a background check and completion of teller training classes.

Responsibilities

• Handle teller transactions accurately and balance cash drawers and vault.
• Assist customers with account inquiries and product/service recommendations.
• Support internal controls and daily reports, including night depository deposits.
• Provide superior customer service and uphold Right by You standards.
• Mitigate losses through accuracy, policy compliance, and risk controls.
• Achieve individual and team financial, production and relationship goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
