Job summary

Truist in Macon, GA seeks a Regular Retail Client Service Associate to deliver outstanding service in person and by phone, expanding client relationships and recommending financial solutions. You may perform teller duties as needed and coordinate referrals to specialists.

The role supports branch sales goals, participates in ongoing training, and emphasizes knowledge of deposits, loans, and services while maintaining compliance and risk controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days of employment with applicable NMLS background checks.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide industry leading client service in person and by phone, developing and expanding client relationships.
• Meet or exceed client service and branch sales targets by offering products and services.
• Refer more complex needs to internal specialists and assist with cross-selling opportunities.
• Participate fully in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and trainings.
• Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
• Adhere to internal controls, policies, and risk management guidelines; stay updated on changes.
