Job summary

Truist is seeking a Regular full-time Teller/Relationship Associate to deliver industry-leading client service in person and by phone, while expanding client relationships and cross-training to perform teller duties as needed.

You will engage in consultative conversations, refer complex needs to specialists, and contribute to achieving branch sales targets by offering banking products to individuals and small businesses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• SAFE compliant within 30 days including NMLS background check.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Willingness to travel for temporary staffing needs and weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Handle teller transactions and client maintenance requests with advanced proficiency.
• Meet or exceed client service and sales targets by offering products and services.
• Refer more complex needs to internal specialists after consultative conversations.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Develop sales techniques and product knowledge through meetings and training.
• Advise on consumer lending options and process loan applications.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Engage clients with friendly service to uncover needs.
