Job summary

Truist in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Retail Banker to deliver an industry-leading client service experience in person and on the phone, while developing and expanding client relationships. The role includes cross-training to perform teller duties as needed and partnering with colleagues to meet branch goals.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, strong sales and service experience, and excellent communication skills. Occasional travel and weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days of employment, including background checks.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Handle routine client maintenance requests and sales functions regarding deposit and credit products.
• Meet or exceed client service and sales targets by expanding relationships.
• Refer complex client needs to internal specialists.
• Participate in branch leadership routines.
• Attend training and product knowledge sessions to improve skills.
• Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Provide courteous service and assist clients in navigating the branch.
