Job summary

Truist is seeking a Regular retail banking professional in Atlanta to deliver industry-leading client service in person and over the phone. You will develop and expand client relationships, promote financial solutions through consultative conversations, and refer complex needs to specialists as appropriate.

The role includes some teller duties as needed, with emphasis on sales targets, product knowledge, and adherence to risk controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days of employment in this role, including new or transfer of registration and applicable NMLS background check which includes meeting applicable financial responsibility, character, credit fitness and criminal background standards. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Handle teller transactions and provide client service in person and by phone.
• Contribute to meeting or exceeding client service and branch sales targets by offering products and services.
• Refer more complex client needs to internal specialists as needed.
• Participate in branch leadership routines and sales activities.
• Attend training classes and product knowledge meetings to improve skills.
• Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
