Microbac is seeking a Customer Relationship Associate in Waterloo, IA. You will serve as front-line contact to receive and process samples, coordinate with client management and lab staff to ensure timely analysis, and relay technical information clearly to non-technical clients.

The role emphasizes client satisfaction, data entry, organization, and cross-functional team coordination in a fast-paced setting, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree in FoodScience, Chemistry, or related field.
• Food and/or Environmental Testing Laboratory Experience is strongly desired.
• Client service or QA experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both laboratory staff and non-technical individuals.
• Exceptional ability to work with others to troubleshoot and solve problems and delegate tasks when necessary.
• Familiarity with regulatory testing requirements within the industry (i.e.; FDA; EPA).
• Demonstrated ability to effectively plan, organize and lead projects.
• Observable commitment to service excellence and brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of client needs; act as liaison between client, Client Services account management team, and laboratory staff.
• Manage logistics of client projects, ensuring timely, cost-effective results and quality standards.
• Efficiently receive and process samples, triage and prioritize based on requirements.
• Store and organize all incoming samples and maintain sample retention.
• Coordinate communications and actions between internal departments/functions.
• Monitor progress of projects and delegate work assignments as needed.
• Communicate technical data to laboratory leadership and clients.
• Suggest new service possibilities aligned with business goals.
