Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is a fully remote digital agency delivering paid media, SEO, CRO, and web services for marketing-led brands. As Client Partner, you own an established book of recurring agency clients.

Our sales team wins new clients; you keep them and grow them. You will retain relationships, drive renewals, upsell additional projects, and work with strategists and delivery teams to present one cohesive voice to clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in marketing, digital, or advertising agency environments.
• Proven track record of retaining clients and selling more work with measurable results.
• Comfort carrying a quota in a sales-driven role.
• Clear, calm communication with senior client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Retain your book of agency clients and manage renewals.
• Upsell and expand projects within each client.
• Achieve a seven-figure annual quota across retention and upsells.
• Collaborate with strategists and delivery teams to present one clear voice to clients.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is a remote digital agency running paid media, SEO, CRO and web for marketing-led brands. As Client Partner you own an established book of recurring agency clients. Our sales team wins new clients; you keep them and grow them.

What You Will Own

• Retention across your book: the relationship, the renewal and the early warning when an account is drifting.
• Upsells and expansion: finding the next project inside each client and selling it.
• A seven-figure annual quota across retention and upsells.
• Working with the strategists and delivery team who run the work, so the client hears one clear voice.

What You Need

• Agency account management experience. Marketing, digital, creative or advertising agency. This is a must.
• A record of keeping clients and selling them more work, with numbers you can walk us through.
• Comfort carrying a quota.
• Clear, calm communication with senior client stakeholders.

Base plus commission, split 50/50.
