Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is a remote digital agency handling paid media, SEO, CRO and web for marketing-led brands. As Account Manager you will own an established book of recurring clients, retain relationships, and pursue growth through upsells, working with strategists and delivery teams to ensure a single client voice.

You will manage a seven-figure annual quota across retention and upsells, with a base salary plus commission. This role is remote for candidates in the USA or Canada.

About The Role

What You Will Own

• Retention across your book: the relationship, the renewal and the early warning when an account is drifting.


• Upsells and expansion: finding the next project inside each client and selling it.


• A seven-figure annual quota across retention and upsells.


• Working with the strategists and delivery team who run the work, so the client hears one clear voice.

What You Need

• Agency account management experience. Marketing, digital, creative or advertising agency. This is a must.


• A record of keeping clients and selling them more work, with numbers you can walk us through.


• Comfort carrying a quota.


• Clear, calm communication with senior client stakeholders.

Base plus commission, split 50/50.
