Job summary

Slalom is seeking a Client Partner (Director) based in Des Moines to drive growth of our Financial Services portfolio across Iowa. This on-site role requires commuting distance to Des Moines and involvement at client locations and Slalom offices.

You will lead growth, oversee profitability and delivery, and build trusted executive relationships with Iowa FS leaders to expand strategic accounts and deliver meaningful client outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in management consulting, technology consulting, or professional services.
• Proven success growing consulting portfolios with revenue, profitability, utilization, and client satisfaction.
• Experience selling, leading, and overseeing complex consulting engagements from pursuit through delivery.
• Deep understanding of the Financial Services industry (Banking, Insurance, Wealth, FinTech, Payments).
• Strong relationships with executive leaders across Iowa's Financial Services market preferred.
• Entrepreneurial mindset to grow Slalom's presence in an emerging market.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth across Iowa and the North Central market by cultivating executive relationships and expanding strategic accounts.
• Manage profitability, revenue, and utilization for assigned accounts.
• Lead net-new business development and expansion within existing client relationships.
• Develop and execute account strategies aligning Slalom's capabilities with client priorities.
• Provide oversight of delivery to ensure client satisfaction and governance across engagements.
• Lead business development activities: opportunity shaping, proposals, RFPs, negotiations, and deals.
• Partner with clients to influence strategic direction and identify innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with capability leaders and delivery teams to bring Slalom's services to clients.
• Maintain industry trend awareness to inform client strategies.
