Job summary

Self Care Counseling is seeking a detail-oriented Client Support Specialist to join our Operations Team in Loveland, with eventual onsite work at Loveland and Greendale. You will lead onboarding calls, handle care coordination, and provide administrative support to ensure a smooth client experience.

You will guide new clients through paperwork, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and maintain accurate records while upholding HIPAA and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, customer service, or admin support.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based systems.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Onsite availability at Loveland and Greendale offices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct onboarding calls with new clients and guardians to explain services and prepare them for first appointment.
• Answer incoming calls and respond to client inquiries professionally.
• Schedule appointments and connect clients with appropriate services.
• Review intake documentation and follow up on incomplete onboarding steps.
• Verify insurance information and benefits when needed.
• Support nonclinical care coordination and case-management tasks.
• Assist with front desk coverage and client check-in.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Refer clinical questions to the appropriate team member.
