Qualifications

• 3+ years in customer service or underwriting in commercial lines
• Familiarity with insurance markets, binding authority, underwriting guidelines
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Oversee servicing of a diverse book of business and ensure accurate policy handling
• Coordinate the marketing process and submit information for quotes
• Prepare and present insurance proposals and bind coverage per guidelines
• Assist with marketing and placement of new and renewal business
• Serve as primary contact for clients and deliver timely documents
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and carriers
• Assess client risk programs and recommend coverage enhancements
• Provide risk-management guidance at renewals
