Job summary

ADP is seeking an Implementation Project Manager I/Implementation Specialist for a hybrid role (3 days in office, 2 days remote). You will be the primary client owner, steering the entire implementation and potential mergers from sale to ongoing Client Services.

The position emphasizes cross-functional coordination, regulatory awareness, and proactive communication with clients and internal teams to ensure a smooth transition and successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Education & Experience.
• 1-3 years of directly related experience.

Responsibilities

• Project manages multiple internal departments, client, financial advisors and recordkeeper for a successful implementation.
• Explain the implementation process during welcome calls and identify team members who will interact with the client.
• Assist client with prior recordkeeper notification and liquidation date.
• Provide blackout notices and explain legal responsibilities to plan participants.
• Coordinate transfer of plan assets and participant records with current providers and ADP teams.
• Review payroll input with the client to ensure correct deductions and compliance coding.
• Collaborate with client and internal ADP groups on missing information for conversion to ADP Retirement Services.
• Prepare and distribute all applicable client conversion communications.
• Document per department standards and coordinate seamless transition to Client Services.
• Recognize potential risk: improper execution could impact ADP and client.
