Job summary

Truist is seeking a Regular, full-time Universal Banker to provide timely client transactions and superior service while building relationships. You will educate clients on digital banking, support outbound outreach, and contribute to Integrated Relationship Management to meet clients’ financial needs. This role may require weekend hours and travel.

Strong interpersonal skills and multi-tasking ability are essential, as is comfort with branch automation software and Microsoft Office applications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients with courteous conversation and performing complex and standard transactions.
• Educate clients on digital self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support team sales by outbound client outreach and identifying needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in all components of the Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advance knowledge through meetings and training to better serve clients.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies and stay updated on changes.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution.
