Job summary

Truist in the United States is seeking a Universal Banker to provide a distinctive client experience, handle transactions, and educate clients on digital banking tools. The role supports sales through outbound calls and IRM insights, while maintaining compliance with internal controls and policies.

A strong customer-service background and basic PC skills are essential. Regular full-time position with opportunities to assist with various banking services, scheduled on 1st shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education required.
• 2 years teller, cash handling or client service experience.
• 6 months client relationship building or sales experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office).
• Willingness to travel for temporary staffing needs and locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel/overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience and handle transactions while ensuring accurate records.
• Educate clients on digital self-service solutions (ATMs, Online/Mobile banking).
• Support sales by outbound client outreach and identifying needs.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) and deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advance product knowledge through training and meetings.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, handling workload based on branch demands.
