Job summary

Truist Bank is seeking a Universal Banker to provide timely client transactions and accurate records while identifying financial needs. You will educate clients on digital banking, assist with outbound calling, and support Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities.

Essential duties include handling complex and standard transactions, maintaining controls, and promoting branch services. The role is full-time with benefits; weekend/extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel/overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience through courteous conversation and handling of transactions.
• Educate clients on digital and self-service solutions like ATMs and Online/Mobile banking.
• Support sales by outbound client outreach and identifying needs for referrals.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank leadership routines.
• Attend training to advance product knowledge for clients and prospects.
• Adhere to internal controls, procedures, and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and issue resolution.
