Job summary

Truist in the United States is seeking an Universal Banker to provide timely, accurate client transactions and build lasting relationships. You will educate customers on digital banking tools and support the sales process with outbound calls, referring clients to branch teams or specialists as needed.

You will contribute to IRM initiatives, participate in leadership routines, and maintain up-to-date product knowledge while complying with internal controls and policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years teller, cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months client relationship or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to use a PC and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Travel to cover temporary staffing needs as required.
• Availability to work weekends and/or extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience through courteous interaction and accurate, complex transactions with guidance as needed.
• Educate clients on digital self-service tools (ATMs, Online/Mobile banking).
• Assist outbound client outreach and identify needs or opportunities for referral to branch team members.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attend training and maintain product knowledge to serve clients effectively.
• Adhere to internal controls and policies to ensure compliance.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and problem resolution, handling branch workload.
